Buoy Handling,  Positioning, Surveying & Crew Changes

Both The Conserver and The Caledonia are equipped to perform crew change operations in the Forth. Each vessel has radial cranes and deck winches. This allows the buoys to be lifted onboard to be serviced and worked on. The Conserver being the larger of the 2 boats is capable of working with the largest of buoys. Both vessels are equipped with the latest computer aided navigation equipment, to enable the accurate positioning of buoys and markers. With the modern computer navigation systems on board The Conserver is ideally suited for Surveying either large or small areas accurately.
