Buoy Handling, Positioning, & Maintenance

Both The Conserver and The Caledonia are equipped with radial cranes and deck winches. This allows the buoys to be lifted onboard to be serviced and worked on. The Conserver being the larger of the 2 boats is capable of working with the largest of buoys.

All work carried out during buoy operations is done to the highest standards, and with all aspects of saftey to the crew, the vessels and the buoy taken into consideration and duly implemented to ensure the success of all operations undertaken.

Both vessels are equipped with the latest computer aided navigation equipment, to enable the accurate positioning of buoys and markers. With the modern computer navigation systems onboard . Seahunter Marine also has the capability to maintain buoys on site, thus removing the need to uplift the buoy and transport it ashore for maintenance.
